April 2008 Week 2

Recently we have been asked by some parents about what their children should be eating and drinking during the sessions. We would reccomend that during the sessions players have water or weak squash available . Sports type drinks are ok but dont really do much more than squash and its important to stay away from fizzy drinks (including the sports type ones). With regard food, its important players dont eat too much during the session so maybe just have a small snack lie a bscuit, jaffa cake or a couple of jelly sweets for a bit of energy.
